Woven into the very fabric of
We ensure the women who make our cashmere collection are the same women who benefit from our profits, allowing them access to educational, financial and social independence.
At La Sororité we care about the women who make our clothes as much as the women we make them for.
Our workforce is made up of women from marginalised groups in Nepal and we endeavour to help these women become self-reliant individuals through, good salaries and health programmes for them and their families.
Our medical fund provides for the women we work with and their loved ones.
We are always striving to make sure every aspect of the brand is
as sustainable as possible,
from the cashmere crafting process to the environmentally
friendly packaging we use to ship our pieces to you
Our core collection
is consciously designed and underpinned
by a commitment to sustainability.
The goats are raised in the Himalayas and are only ever hand-combed
which is the traditional method to extract the longest fibres from
the goats that have already naturally dropped due to the spring weather.
We use mostly un-dyed yarn to keep our use of chemicals tan absolute minimum, lessening our effect on the environment.
We design trans-seasonal pieces that can be worn for years to come, no matter the weather.
This considered approach breaks the traditional fashion calendar in order to end the cycle of overconsumption.
